A Dream Finally Came True

A seven year old chubby girl with crooked teeth.  She always wore a smile and carried laughter wherever she went.  She enjoyed bright colors and the fragrance of fresh flowers.  She was always one of big dreams.  The vivid images of being on stage encouraging people, her face on the cover of a magazine and the title New York Times Bestselling Author was one that always stuck in her mind.

One problem was she never fit in with her peers or family members.  She was always the odd one out.  She was often teased and ridicule.  She gave her all to everyone she came into contact with.  But was often the one cast out.  She developed a rejection mindset.  It interfered with all of her relationships.  As she grow older she found herself not about to develop close relationships.  She always had a hidden fear of being rejected.  So she hid behind a protective shell. To protect her heart.  Everytime she opened her heart someone broke her.

So now her dreams evolve into learning to love again. Learning to trust again.  She settles for a job to make ends meet.  But there is a tug that just wont allow her to be comfortable.  She realizes she was born to write, called to create and wounded to heal.  The vision she had as a seven year is God’s plan for her life.  Every hurt, every disappointment was a roadmap to her destiny.  The dream will come true but first it had to come true within her.

The dream finally came true in her heart.
